Compass Research

I am Pierre Legrand from Compass research. With my background and experience in conflict archaeology I started Compass research to share my expertise and interest about this topic. I specialize in custom-made battlefield tours in Belgium and focus myself on the two world wars.

My tours are designed to be accessible to everyone according to their level of expertise and mobility. They are mostly by bike or by foot. My goal is to make my tours as immersive and accurate as  possible to allow the visitor to better understand this period of our shared history. My standard battlefield tours are available on short notice and in three languages: English, French and Dutch.

If your group is interested in a lecture or you are specifically searching about the whereabouts of a relative during the First World War. I will be more than happy to help you.
