The Ypres City Brewery Kazematten is located under the fortresses that surround the city. The unique historic casemates of the "Houten Paard" on the Lille Gate were transformed into an authentic brewery and have been the stage for the Wipers Times beers since 2014.
It was from this location that the British soldiers published their satirical magazine 'The Wipers Times' during WWI.

Every Saturday the beerguide will invite you in the brewery for a visit and a taste.
